I live in Danville and serve the birthing community of the eastbay
My first introduction to Doulas was in 1995 at the birth of my daughter.
The doula arrived at my bedside as part of a volunteer hospital service.
Her gentle encouragement and support helped my husband and I
through a long, difficult labor.
When she was born, I was so overcome with joy
that I knew at that moment I was going to be a doula and help women achieve that same amazing feeling.
Within a year, I quit my corporate job and was
working towards my new goal.
I became a Nationally Certified Doula thru Doulas of North America (DONA)and continued my education by studying
midwifery with Elizabeth Davis of Heart and Hands.
I had my second baby, then became a Certified Childbirth Educator from the Association of Labor Assistants and Childbirth Educators (ALACE).
In 2006, I began my career withKaiser Permanente as their Childbirth Educator and Newborn Care Instructor& in 2014
I completed training as a certified Hypnobabies Hypno-doula
where I continue to serve our birthing community.
It would be an honor to have you join the 100's of families I have supported over the past 19 years
and help you through the most wonderful moment in your life.
